Dr. Missy Holas, D.C., M.S., A.T.C.
Dr. Missy Holas is a board certified chiropractor, received a masters of Sports Injury Management and is a certified athletic trainer. She has certifications in Graston, dry needling, Greenman manual therapy, dry/fire cupping, and trigger point therapy.
Dr. Holas has extensive expertise in treating NHL/AHL/ECHL hockey players. She is the team chiropractor for the Chicago Wolves, works for the Florida Panthers and travels/treats many NHL players throughout the year. Before transferring to Chicago in February 2012, Dr. Holas worked with the Atlanta Thashers, now the Winnipeg Jets, for 13 years, 10 years as the team chiropractor. Since 2010, she has been the Chiropractor, Manual Therapist and Athletic Trainer for the USA Hockey Women’s National (Olympic) team.
Dr. Holas attended Oakland University where she received a bachelor of Exercise Science/Athletic Training. She graduated from Life University in Atlanta Georgia, in 2001 with a doctorate in Chiropractic. While attending Life University, she received her masters in Sports Injury Management in 2002.
Since 2003, Dr. Holas has been an instructor at Life University, teaching Physio Therapy and Modalities, Muscle Testing and Advanced Sports Medicine. She studies along side Dr. Ted, Carrick, a board certified functional neurologist and chiropractic physician. Dr. Carrick is an expert on concussions and focuses on sports performance in functional neurology.
Dr. Holas provides diagnosis and treats for professional athletes, collegiate athletes, high school athletes, and active individuals. She utilizes a combination of chiropractic, soft tissue treatment, and rehabilitation modalities and exercises in the office.
